Beauty Day on the Rideau Canal

Perfect conditions for skating on the canal. Look at that ice. Early morning shot with the sun coming up in the East. Unfortunately this is the extent of my enjoyment as it was a work day for me but not before I got in a few other shots.

Looking West towards the parliment buildings. These shots were actually taken a week ago as of now it again is way too mild to be out there. Canal was closed today even for winterlude and if this mild weather continues you'll be golfing in now time.

Last shot I got in before off to the Ottawa U bus station and on to work.
