Ever since I started gardening the Monarch butterfly has always been on my radar. If you have ever been graced by one it has the power to turn a regular sunny afternoon into a spectacular afternoon. Any girl could not help but be taken by the complete distraction from everyday garden life. So when I happen to notice last week a Monarch butterfly dance around in the meadow you can imagine my delight. To make it that much more exciting he/she has a partner now and they frequent the garden on any given day. They literally play with each other and fly from one garden to the next in these cat and mouse games. It is truly a blessing to have finally snapped these pictures too as they were a wee bit camera shy at the beginning.

Pretty Butterflies on Pricky Scotch Thistle
Hello, would you like to take a look in the garden with me dear friends? I'd like to share with you my garden photos as you share so much of your lives with me. And my life is enriched so because of it. In my own way, I'd wish to return the favor.
